Training your dog can be a bit boring. So lots of people have started doing heelwork to music. Because you're having fun and enjoying yourself, this immediately goes down the lead/leg to the dog and the dog gets motivated and enjoys itself too.
It's now even an event at Crufts (for the people who make up super fancy routines). Here's a guy and his dog doing heelwork to Thriller.
